Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have sought services before, I am here to tailor your support and guidance specifically to you throughout this process. Therapy can be beneficial for people of all ages, life stages, and various circumstances.
Therapists are professionally-trained listeners who can help you get to the root of your problems, overcome emotional challenges, and make positive changes in your life. My office is always a judgement free zone, in which everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be diagnosed with a mental health problem to benefit from therapy. Life transitions and relationship changes can be particularly difficult to manage on your own. I work with people of all ages and life stages who feel “stuck” and unable to decide the next steps in their lives and relationships.
For children and adolescents (ages 12-17years old), I provide individual services within a family-oriented, research-based approach to best meet their needs. Depending on the needs of you and your family, therapy may involve individual work with your child, parent meetings between you and I, interactive parent-child therapy, family meetings, or some combination of these approaches. A treatment plan is developed specific to the needs of your child, with clearly defined objectives and outcomes, so that we can measure our progress and collaborate together intentionally. I also provide support, coaching and guidance to parents – I know you are doing your best to raise a family in today’s complicated world.
Specifically for young adults, I offer individual counseling for those who are transitioning into a new phase of life as they prepare for college, more serious romantic relationships, identity exploration, break away from their childhood, or enter into the job force. I can work with you to provide clinical guidance and support as you explore the journey ahead.
Therapy is a collaborative process and I value and seek feedback from you on what exactly you are looking for from your services. Rather than “fix the problem”, my goals are focused on working together to facilitate change and improve your quality of life. Therapy can often help confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being. In therapy, we will work towards ways to manage internal and external factors that are no longer serving you.
