My goal is to help you to achieve and operate with integrity, clarity, and to be authentically you within your profession.
If you are in the field of social work or mental health counseling, chances are you will need to experience the process of clinical supervision. Clinical Supervision is often required for obtaining a higher level licensure. As an approved Supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, I am able to provide you with this supervision and guide you throughout the entire process.
Whilst supervisees may require guidance and direction at times, I view effective supervision as a collaborative process, wherein supervisees take an active role in:
Choosing what aspect of their practice to focus on and explore
Determining how the supervisor-supervisee dyad works together
Offering feedback about the experience of the supervisory process and the relationship
Developing and being accountable to their own professional standards
With years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor, I share with you my knowledge and expertise so that you may position yourself for future success. My experiences as a Clinical supervisor include:
Serving as Director of Therapy for a thriving multidisciplinary integrative private practice with clinicians from various clinical backgrounds and experience levels including LPCs, LSWs, LFTs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LCPCs, and Psychologists. Patients served included children (ages 2-17), adolescents, families and adults experiencing and seeking support for various mental health conditions.
Developing and Implementing individual and group curriculum for at risk youth and families within the foster care system and actively involved in the Department of Child and Family Services. Providing clinical guidance, support and supervision to staff and patients participating within a summer based treatment and skill development program.
Providing supervision, leadership, program development, and guidance within a chaotic and often unpredictable residential treatment facility serving adults with Serious Mental Illness and many with Cooccuring Substance Use Disorders.
